Yarra Valley Wine Tour for 2
This Yarra Valley Wine Tour for 2 has been designed, by popular demand, for couples and small groups. Up to four guests can enjoy a visit to 4 wineries with wine tastings in a private car with your own designated driver and host.
The Yarra Valley has an abundance of wineries to visit and cellar doors to experience. Our professional team will happily suggest a popular itinerary and build your perfect day.
The Itinerary
The tour begins at your house, hotel, or even your office. In terms of start time, it’s up to you! Normally, we recommend a 10:00am start from Melbourne but if a later time start suits, no problem. Alternatively, we can meet at a central location chosen by you that is convenient for everyone to get to in the morning. The day has a relaxed, no rush feel as we take our time during cellar door visits. There will be plenty of time to grab a photo or two and enjoy the surroundings.
It is approximately one hours drive from Melbourne to the Yarra Valley. For a tour departing Melbourne at 10:00am, we usually arrive at our first tasting venue around 11:00am. Our second tasting venue is also our lunch venue. Tastings here can take place either before or after lunch, depending on venue availability and your preference. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, we have allowed plenty of time for you to relax in your surroundings and savour some truly remarkable food. We then reach our third wine tasting at around 3:00pm. Our final tasting begins at 4:00pm and we begin our journey home no later than 5:00pm.

Optional Extras and Alternatives
If you would like something different, why not consider one of these options in place of a wine tasting or add it on as an extra:
- Four Pillars – Visit Healesville’s famous gin distillery and sample their internationally acclaimed spirits. Recently, Four Pillar took top honors in Icons of Gin 2022 – Distiller of the year.
- Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery – a very popular addition. Round up a great day out by enjoying a chocolate tasting or grab yourself an artisan gelato. With over 250 hand crafted chocolate varieties there is bound to be something for everyone.
- Brewery – Round off the end of the day with one of Yarra Valleys very own craft breweries. Grab yourself a tasting paddle or a light snack from the bar. Hargreaves Hill Brewing Co, Coldstream Brewery just to name a few breweries we can visit.
We will happily work out a quote for you to include one of these alternatives. Please note that this may alter the cost of the tour as advertised. Upon booking mention in the comments that you would like an extra included, or send us an enquiry.
Tour Particulars
We are able to take a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum group size of 4 people. The transportation on offer for this tour is a large SUV with leather interior. Our preferred restaurants will happily cater for special dietary requirements. Please advise us as soon as possible as the lunch restaurant will be notified prior to the tour.
The included lunch venue is at Rochford’s Isabella restaurant winery offering a traditional 2-course à la carte entrée and main selection. Please send us an enquiry if you would like an alternative lunch option, we will happily quote accordingly.
