Premium Lunch & Wine Tasting Tour 2-8 guests

Explore the Mornington Peninsula wine region

  • Tours in your own private vehicle or mini-bus depending on your group size. (2-8)
  • Meals: Lunch included, Groups under 8 will dine in the Pt Leo Restaurant
    • Monday to Friday, guests are offered two or three-course lunch
    • Saturday to Sunday, guests are offered a three-course lunch
  • Personal Driver, Guide, and Host.
  • Cost of standard wine tastings at 4 top wineries or option to upgrade to Premium Wine tastings.
  • Complimentary chilled bottle of water per person.
  • Our service includes the cost of any tolls and petrol; no additional fees.

What’s Excluded

  • Multiple pick-ups and drop-offs – please discuss this with our office prior to the day if required (additional costs may apply).
  • Additional food and beverages; these can be paid separately at the end of lunch.

What to Expect

  • Our driver pick-up time may vary depending on your location. This will be part of the final itinerary we send you. As an indication, pick-up from Melbourne and surrounding suburbs is between 9:45 am and 10:00 am. Local pick-up on the Mornington Peninsula is between 10:15 am and 10:30 am.

 

Tour Options

 

  • Pt Leo Offers lunch in the Wine Terrace Friday- Monday for large groups of 9-20 people only. Please see our ultimate winey experience
  • The Mornington Peninsula also hosts a variety of distilleries offering rum, gin, whisky, and vodka. Email us for the additional cost if this interests you.
  • At Pt Leo restaurant, large groups of 9-16 people can be accommodated; however, they must dine on the 3-course lunch with a 3-hour beverage package. Please fill out our enquiry form and mention this if it interest you.

Dine at the popular Pt Leo Restaurant, All diners will be offered the three courses (Valued at $125pp) from the a la carte menu. Weekdays the restaurant offers a 2 course option, please select this option below for Monday to Friday bookings only.

Frequently Asked Questions

It will depend on your final numbers; it’s important to note that every cellar door imposes its own maximum group sizes. Small groups of 2-6 have their pick of wineries. A group of up to 11 guests has reduced wineries to choose from.

Wineries that accept groups of 12-24 guests are limited, so organize your group early to increase your options.

Yes. However, this will depend on the final group size. It’s worth noting that some wineries have different tasting fee structures and charge above the average cost of a standard wine tasting. This product is priced to a set cost. Additional charges may apply for specific stops.

If you would like a formal quote, please contact our office. This tour is  “ready to go”. All pricing for the day is listed in the price table per person. Select your ideal date if it is available proceed to book on our online system. 

Yes! We will collect you from your private address, office or convenient meeting point. All Melbourne Hotels included. This is a door to door private wine tour. If you would like to be returned to a different address please advise our booking office.

We pick up from Melbourne and surrounding suburbs and from down the Peninsula. Extra fees may apply if you are outside our usual pickup zone. 

Our Private Mornington Peninsula Winery Tour, is great for groups, small or big, that don’t want to share the day with strangers on a public tour.

Be aware that Public Wine Tours sell by the seat and usually have a set itinerary. 

Yes, of course! We can price a non-drinker to join the tour and include lunch for that guest and exclude all the tasting fees. For bookings online, book the tour based on the drinkers and add a note to the final order stating that you also have a non-drinker.  We will send you the cost for this after the booking is processed. Please feel free to email us prior to booking.

No. Our booking price includes taxes and tasting fees, lunch, transfers, fuel, freeway tolls, the lot! Any additional beverages at lunch are at your own expense. We suggest one person settle the bill and split with the group on a latter date. 

Yes! The Classic Wine Tour has a lunch option at the Pig & Whistle Tavern, which is on 30 acres with English style gardens but just happens to also be on a Vineyard. 

Please consider one of our upgraded day tours for different winery lunch options. Our Enhanced Wine Explorer or the Premium Ultimate Winery experience. 

Sure! The buses have the latest Bluetooth connections for easy connectivity. Our drivers are happy for someone to take control of the playlist.

Not a problem! Please let us know. Most restaurants can cater to special requirements. We kindly ask for these requirements as soon as possible so we can give the restaurants plenty of advanced notice.

Final balances and last minute adjustments will be required no later than 48 hours prior to tour commencement.

Proceeding  with a booking

  • Type or select the number of guests in your private group and choose your ideal date. Please choose from tour options and add-ons. Proceed to check and provide your pick up details and select option for payment. 
  •  We will contact your chosen lunch venue availability to update you as soon as possible.
  • Our booking office will send you an itinerary and tax invoice. We will then email and secure all the cellar bookings.
  • Collect any special dietary requirements from the group, and provide us with the pick-up/drop-off address for the day.
  • We will contact you the week of the tour date with any final adjustments. On occasion, someone can’t make it on the day. That’s fine, we just need to know 48 hours prior.
  • The day of the tour, the driver will arrive 15 minutes early, giving the group time to settle on the bus ready to go.

Adam was incredibly responsive in all communications while we planned our private wine tasting in the Yarra Valley.  The day was planned perfectly with a fantastic Premium Single Block tasting and lunch at Oakridge, followed by two other great wineries.  Adam was extremely knowledgeable and kept us on schedule and entertained throughout the day.

I booked a Mornington Peninsula wine tour with Adam for my friend's birthday and we had the best time! Adam was so friendly, knowledgeable and brought such a happy energy to our day - we loved hearing all his stories.
